The East Baton Rouge Parish School District believes that field trips provide a valuable educational experience for students. Learning occurs in a lot of different ways in schools, and it's not only in classrooms, but They also provide a variety of enrichment experiences with field trips that help students develop educationally and culturally. Here are some great field trips that were taken by our Magnet students.

Louisiana's young filmmakers will have the opportunity to shine during the first annual East Baton Rouge Parish Student Film Festival, which was scheduled on Friday, March 9, 2020
During the event, the students did enjoy student films of all genres, ranging from drama to horror to comedy. Event organizers say a total of 36 films was presented to students during the festival.
EXXON Girl's Engineering Day
EXXON sponsors Girl to Engineering Day activities aims to raise female students to have an interest in engineering related career fields. The day is filled with activities that the girls to use their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects to solve problems
Magnet Mania
This event showcases all the different magnet programs, career academies, elementary schools, middle schools, high school accelerated programs and neighborhood schools offered by the East Baton Rouge Parish school district. The video was filmed by Brian Hertzock and Ventrice Curtis and 77 others.
